What It Means To Walk Your Path

“I drove by the fork in the road and went straight” – Jay Z (Renegade)

Humans are infinitely wired to follow the path of least resistance.

Everyone wants it easier.

You do. Me too.

But I learned something this past week.

Living a purpose-filled life, aspiring to a higher calling and wanting to be more would most likely require you to take a path least followed, not the path with least resistance.

The path least followed comes with the most resistance.

You would be misunderstood.

You might even be laughed at and ridiculed because of your aspirations.

But it’s your choice to either exist like everyone else or be talked about for ages (in a good light).

Or would you rather do what everyone else is doing and die mediocre?

Think about it:

Everything is vanity and meaningless already. So, why not just do what you’d be proud of on your dying bed?
